Arcade Fire
So I finally got tickets and they didn't disappoint. Id seen them at Oxygen in between people pushing past and splashing muck around but I really wanted to see them again.
They played the "Big Top" in Dublin's Phoenix Park last Tuesday and were fantastic. At one point there were about 12 people on stage creating this amazing sound using everything from Guitars and Violins to a Church Organ. A great Live set that kept the crowd going from start. If they turn up at a town near you, be sure to get tickets!!

Turin Brakes - Ether Song
I have a dilemma! I got tickets for Turin Brakes who play the Tripod in Dublin on Sat 13th Oct. I didn't realise at the time that Ireland V Germany was at the same time. Doh! School boy error I know. Now Ireland's position in in the qualifying isn't good at all and they will probably get beaten..... But what if it turns out like the Ireland V Holland game? What if they play out of their skins? What if they actually .. dare I say it... Win!! So more out of hope than expectation I'm gonna opt for the game instead.. So if by coincidence you happen to view this blog in the next 24 hrs and you are in Dublin this coming Saturday looking for a gig then you could do a lot worse.. You can leave a comment or mail me..
